IBM Thinkplace Partially Opens
Tuesday, January 20th, 2009
You may recall an earlier post about changes in Innoventions.
Well the IBM Thinkplace hs opened the first phase which is interactive kiosks that a reader told me about. So far it’s being undersold. In fact the cast member at the entrance didn’t say anything about it being a game, they just mentioned getting your pucture taken in various poses. It didn’t entice our group so I can’t report on how fun it might be. But by all apearances it seems to be an Innoventions trend toward attractions aimed at visitors who are under 10 years of age. I honestly don’t know if it would make a parent feel like they were getting a Disney experience worth $138 (one adult one child admission) or that they couldn’t get at a nearby children’s museum. Maybe the rest of the area will have more of a wow factor… make that more of a “WDW” factor.
