New Addition Comes to The Land
Author: Mike
Aquaponics have debuted at the end of the boat ride in The Land. Though the recorded narration hasn’t caught up with the change. The multi-level growing environment has come from behind the curtain. The concept behind the technology is innovative and very, pardon the pun, green. I explained it in an earlier post. But as you can see it isn’t exactly awe inspiring. Without the guide’s narration, which I’m sure will come, it just looks like they put some more fish from the aquaculture section here.
This is a time when a live guide on the boat would be an advantage. I always liked having the live narration rather than the perfect, repetitive recording. (by a rather monotone announcer) You never knew what you might hear. The personality that they injected into what was the same script for everyone, sometimes it made the ride much more memorable. Like the time one actually danced in her seat to the “Listen To The Land” song.
I miss the music as well. Replace the background music loop with all those pictures at the end with a theme song. It will provide a real finale so it can grow on you.
